Rotary HEP Hero Barry Cooper

November 19, 2020

Barry Cooper

Retired professor | Rotary Club of Geelong

Retired professor from Deakin University who lives on a small farm.

I was President of The Rotary Club of Geelong in 2019 and am now the current Secretary.

While I have no connection to hepatitis, I am a great believer in men taking charge of their health and having regular tests – which many men never do until it is too late.

This is a disease that can be eradicated if enough people are educated about it.

Barry’s message to others:

Have regular blood tests – it’s easy and will detect many problems e.g., prostate cancer, hepatitis, before it is too late.
