Overview

The current hepatitis A outbreak in Victoria, is predominantly affecting people who use drugs and those experiencing homelessness.

In response to this, hepatitis A vaccination has been funded and is available in specialist services as well as the mobile immunisation health and harm reduction service.

This is a mobile service that increases access to hepatitis A, hepatitis B and other vaccinations as well as provides health information and harm reduction attending housing services, wrap around support services such as food and social programs and health services.
