Mayor of Moreland City Council

As the Mayor of Moreland I feel becoming a HEP Hero is a good thing to do as an elected representative and role model for the city. I am 46, married with three sons and living in Coburg. I love to spend time in the garden.

Knowing what people are up to and how they form part of the complex fabric of our society is something that interests me. I grew up in Carlton in the 70’s and 80’s so being in a very multicultural city and living in Moreland makes me feel right at home.

As the Mayor of Moreland I feel becoming a HEP Hero is a good thing to do as an elected representative and role model for the city.

I feel that its very important to support people and break down misunderstanding and stigma wherever I can.

I think that as a leader I can use my voice to support and contribute to valuable conversations about hepatitis. Sharing stories helps to promote understanding and that is very important.
