People who use drugs can be at risk of viral hepatitis and associated health outcomes. Alcohol related liver disease is also a growing health risk among the Australian population. We offer free info sessions and programs:

Info sessions

Free info sessions offer personalised, and tailored information sessions for clients of any service in Victoria who support people using alcohol or other drugs.

 

Fit for Cure

We are currently working with services in Brimbank, supported by the Brimbank City Council, to map and link hepatitis C alcohol and other drug friendly testing and treatment services.

LIVERStrong

LIVERStrong a holistic education session for women, focussing on liver health. It prioritises wellbeing, encouraging women to think of caring for their liver health as a form of self-care.

Hepatitis A vaccination

The current hepatitis A outbreak in Victoria, is predominantly affecting people who use drugs and those experiencing homelessness.

In response to this, hepatitis A vaccination has been funded and is available in specialist services as well as the mobile immunisation health and harm reduction service.
